This is the second part of our review of the Ikea VÄXER/ KRYDDA indoor hydroponic gardening kits, cultivators and accessories, showing construction of the pieces involved and planting up the nursery and sprout box with seeds.
In this video I show how well the seedlings have grown in two weeks and then explain the next steps in their progress to being fully grown and edible plants. I also give my initial thoughts on the system so far.

I also thought that I may fill in the sides of the metal work with clear twinwall running in plastic channeland allowing a gap at the top for ventalation Finally i have seen people using tin foil round the growing seeds to prevent evaperation any thoughts? I have started my first seeds today.

Still working on part 3?
Sorry for such a long wait for video 3. We had a timer failure and wanted to ensure this hasn't negatively affected the results, so we started again.
As we've learned a fair amount during the first two videos, plus after shooting, we decided to experiment with the kit and how it is used to make for a more informative final video.
Also, we are trying to mix our own, fully organic, food mix.
I'm also looking forward to part 3! I'm really curious about how your seedlings turned out!

Hi! You're supposed to use 3 coriander seeds per germination pod. Perhaps your coriander yield will be low with only one seed. Happy growing!
