This is just a video to show that yes you can build forests and farms indoors so long as you A. Have dirt and used the hoe to make it farm able (in the case of crops you do not need to for trees) B. Water them (Sprinklers are usually a good option here) and C made sure theres enough room for them to grown (alot of room needed for the trees not so much the crops). If you check all these they will grow . idk if they need a lightsource but i imagine putting a few torches or a bit of glass around in the background will do the job
