Vertical Growing of Cucumbers really is the way to go. Even though it may take a little time to trellis the plants you will save space and grow much more clean and perfectly shaped cucumbers than on the ground. If you don’t believe me check out my two patches from last year.

Looking great! I always get powdery mildew with the cukes, I get one or two nice ones and then…here comes the mildew…what's your secret?
