What I’m Planting in December Phoenix, Arizona Garden
List of Veggies You Can Plant in December In Zone 9B
Kale, Celery, Arugula, Cabbage, Bok Choy, Collard Greens, Swiss chard, Turnips, Broccoli, Kohlrabi, Cauliflower, Beets, Peas, Lettuce, Spinach, Mustard, Carrots, Green Onions, Radishes
* For long growing vegetables like cabbage, its best to plant from transplant. Look up the days to maturity online to determine whether or not to plant from seed or transplant.
* Peas do not like to be transplanted and are quick growing.
* Also do not transplant root vegetables like carrots, radishes etc. Best results by direct sowing. For December planting choose small fast maturing carrots.

Absolutely love your videos! Thanks for tip regarding transplant shock. I will start using seaweed when I transplant. Love the new bed! Many blessings!
