Thanks Stew , that's a very good idea using Wal-Mart. Would love to get my own system some day. Thanks again Bro !
To be honest I can't. The reality is that RO filters are expensive. I have a $400 one which does like 350 gallons a day allegedly but to fill up my 55 gallon rez takes over 4-5 hours at least. They are slow. Totally worth it, but I honestly don't know of any cheap alternative to spending the money up front.
One thing I like to recommend is to go to your local Walmart, grocery store etc and fill up 5 gallon water bottles as they will sell you RO water for like $.0050 – $1.00 a gallon.
Hi Stew, great job on your video. Can you recommend a good reverse osmosis filter set up that won't break the bank ? Thanks
Larry
I actually messed up the price in the video, it's only $17.95 which is a damn good price if you ask me.
That's an impressive product and very well explained. Thank You!
$30 seems a little pricey but obviously it does what it claims to do and does it well.
But if one is going to invest in hydroponics, knowing what the water is like is very important, so $30 is cheap.
Dude I have not seen a lid for a dollar since the 70s
do you run the light all the time, ?
is there any way without using electric light?…
Is that aluminum foil? That is a bad idea. Aluminum absorbs light too much. You would get more out of your light if you would have just painted the insides white. Just a thought.
Where's the weed at ol boy
HAY QUE QUITARLOS ENCUANTO COMIENCE A RAYAR PARA EVITAR QUE LA PLANTA SE SEQUE Y PUEDA DURAR MAS TIEMPO
NO SE DEBEN DEJAR QUE SE HAGAN ROJOS EN LA PLANTA PORQUE SE TERMINA EL CICLO DE VIDA DE LA PLANTA
Poor plant, locked in a cabinet….
Thank you so much for the video! I'm starting dental school soon and I wanted to do a project like this in my small apartment. This video is exactly what I was looking for. :). I do have a suggestion. Could you make a video or comment on lighting? I didn't understand how you installed everything. Or what you meant about the aluminum. It looked like it was still at the base of light fixture. Thank you again. subscribe
Pretty slick. Good job.
you look like you smokw too much dank weed
dude, no good, why not just do it rite.
You'll be able to save a lot of money construction hydroponics on your own instead of purchasing it.
This guy is smoking some of what he is growing. But that's OK.
I inspected some of your videos, but this just got you a subscribe from me!
do you have any idea to make hydroponic system with fish aquarium?
Yes I will, as a matter of fact I'm doing an update right now on it :)
