Visiting the MN Ag Expo and meeting the Diesel Brothers! This week I headed south to Mankato, MN to visit the state’s premier Ag show. The Minnesota Soybean Association is having a truck built by the Diesel Brothers which will be featured on the Discovery Channel in the upcoming season. I also got to fist bump Diesel Dave! I also got to fist bump Diesel Dave! Over the course of 2 days I also attended several meetings, including important ones for the Minnesota corn and Soybeans Grower Associations. Biodiesel, Minnesota Tough!
I am a 5th generation family farmer from West-Central Minnesota. The recent interest in food, combined with a large amount of ‘misinformation’ has driven me to start this channel. I hope to be someone people can relate to and trust when they question how their food is grown and raised. I also hope to become a ‘smarter’ farmer through my experiences with this channel. I strongly believe we must have an open mind and a willingness to learn about others, or we cannot move forward as one. My goal is to build the connection between farmers and consumers by facilitating a collaborative conversation amongst everyone. I do this by sharing my day-to-day farming experiences, my opinions on certain topics, and occasionally visiting other farms and businesses to help better understand other farming and business practices. There is no limit to where this channel may go, so please join me!!

I was born in Winnipeg Manitoba and raised on my grandfathers farmabout 30 miles north of Winnipeg. He had corn and wheat and farmed withlarge draught horses so I have seen how farming has changed. Take Care….P.S. I am 80 years old…
I know this video is kinda old but I just recently found your channel. I started from the beginning and have been trying to keep up. I love the whole farming thing that's for sure and your videos are entertaining and educational for sure but I clicked on this video because of them diesel brothers guys. They are fuckin awesome. Wish u had more time w them. I watch all their stuff . They build some bad ass shit. But anyway…..keep the videos coming. Good stuff man

@6:49 Just a tip. As much as you want a chill atmosphere on your video. Always say to the person you interview: Just look into the interviewers eyes/face(You in most cases). If will help them to relax and enjoy the few moments you talk with them. And us that look at it, Its a bit weird to look at a subject that doesn't know where to rest their eyes 🙂

Please consider doing a video on your family farming history going all the to the beginning, what kind of equipment was used , what sort of problems your dad and grandparents encountered. My grandparents had a dairy farm in central California and raised millet for feed around 1905 . I am a retired water treatment operator and certified welder . I really enjoy watching your channel and rice farming tv .
