Next Level Stormwater Management was a key participant in developing the CSA A123.21-14 Standard Test Method for the dynamic wind uplift resistance of membrane roofing – the first such test in the world.

Wind uplift tests were conducted at the National Research Council (NRC) of Canada’s Dynamic Roofing Facility in Ottawa using a chamber fan mechanism that simulates the dynamic effects of wind.

At NRC in Ottawa, wind pressure tests reached the maximum sustained pressure of 9.6 kPa. At CLEB UL in Montreal, wind flow tests reached the maximum sustained speed of 200 km/h.

Next Level Stormwater Management will provide you with a project-specific wind uplift letter stamped by a Professional Engineer. Contact us for more info.
