Happy to see your container gardening. I have both, it gives me such a break from everything else just having all the plants, veggies, fruit etc to work with. Hang in there.

I’m not bored. May I share some words that are comforting and encouraging to me? Jesus promises to give us the gift of peace. In the book of John in the Bible, Jesus says in John 14:27, “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” Also, Philippians 4:4, Rejoice in the lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Verses 6 and 7, Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Jesus loves and cares for each of us as if we were the only person in the world for whom He gave His life and if we ask Him He will keep us in His hand and heart. He knows the future. We may trust Him. Take care. Blessings

I had a big problem with garden pests last year. I do things organically. I pulled up the plants and trashed them to help get rid of the bugs. I have several huge pots of soil that I know has their eggs and possibly the hibernating bugs in them. One is spider mites. I hate to throw away all this potting soil. Any ideas on what to do without having to throw the soil out?

Do you have any mosquito issues in your garden? We have them really bad every year. I don’t want to spray anything that will kill the pollinators. We also have a lot of trees and birds in our yard. Any suggestions? Also, have seen a huge difference in my garden since composting in place!
