This is year #2. We certainly learned a lot! We’ve made a few improvements since last year. Mainly we changed the reservoir tank to a much cheaper container. The reason for this was to simplify the base that the 5″ vinyl fence post sits into. This improvement not only lowered the overall cost of the second tower by , but also makes changing and cleaning the reservoir quickly possible with only one person. . We’ve also switched from using net cups to 3” pool noodle cuttings. In addition to lowering the costs down even further, by using the noodles, it is much much easier to transplant from indoors to outdoors. Right now total build cost I believe is about including pump and timer. I will post all the parts and links in the next video.
