So many beautiful trees!!
Such a beautiful garden Rosanne!!! I love all the different colors, shapes and textures. I've just recently started adding spruce, blue spruce and different colored leaf trees to our yard.
Like your yard we had to remove 2 mature trees within the last 5 years, now we are trying to rebuild our yard with trees and shrubs.
Great tour!
Great info on some beautiful trees for the garden. I don't know much about trees, so this vid is very helpful! Thanks!
Lovely Rosanne. Thank you! I found a garden center that sells the Malus Lanzum Lancelot crabapple tree — like the one in your side yard.
I love the weeping pines framing your bench. I’d love to see a video about those and how you trained it. Looks like they’re planted fairly close to your property line, how wide do they get? I have a small yard and always worry about planting too closely to the property beside us.
Wow!!! I'm proud of Korean maple in your garden. I expect your interest in Korean flower and trees more. Thank you
Here is a tip for your next purchase when your looking for dwarf trees…….look at the sales tag and read what looks like scientific jargon that identifies the tree….if it ends in nana…..it identifies the tree as dwarf…
Love your esthetic
Fab!! I dont know what tree to get for our small garden – great ideas…your garden is stunning 🙂
Lovely. And so helpful. Thank you, Rosanne.
I love your garden!!! Thank you for all the information.
This was very helpful for varieties that can withstand cold weather. Mrs CB NE Ohio

This is so helpful, Roseanne! To see a great variety of trees that do not overtake small yards has given me a lot to consider. When you share the age of your trees, it confirms their size and helps me to visualize using them. It’s also helpful when pictures from different seasons are put in—very thoughtful 🙂 You have such a good eye in placing your plants for scale, texture, and interest. I thoroughly enjoy your videos, thank you!!
I love the layers of trees in your garden.
When I moved here, nearly 30 years ago, I was swayed by the many trees in my yard (I am in Crystal). Over the years I've had to remove 11 of them. I have a 'Prairie Fire' crabapple I didn't notice in time got blight so will be removing it. My last mature tree in the back, some kind of maple, is roaring with orange that reflects into my kitchen setting it ablaze this morning. Oddly, this is the first time it colored so orange. It's always been quite golden. It's near the power lines and has two leaders so, sadly, isn't long for this world. After a "tornado" went thru here this summer several huge trees had to go and it got me speculating on the life of mine.
Since you like weeping trees, I have to point you to my favorite one I planted this spring in a mixed hydrangea hedge I hope screens the neighbors in time. 'The Blues' weeping Colorado spruce. Oh my. It should remain fairly small. It layers so nicely with the hydrangeas, grasses, 'Black Lace' elderberry, coralberry and blue/purple perennials planted around it.
What a beautiful garden! I have planted some Serviceberry trees myself, but they have yet to catch up to yours..I look forward to viewing all of your videos for ideas )
I love your channel. Thank you for the tender, loving tours of your garden world. I will be spending more time relaxing with your garden videos.
beautiful !!!
Dreamy!
Between your weeping mulberry and weeping pussy willow, which one has the lowest maintenance?
