The only problem I have with this video is the part about researching the position description in order to prove to the interviewer how you are the best person for the position. I've sat on both sides of the interview table and from my experience a position description is an employer's pie-in-the-sky wish list. It is a very rare candidate indeed who meets most, let alone all, or the requirements. Take a look at the average IT position description. Bill Gates probably wouldn't meet all the requirements. About the best an applicant can do is to identify those areas wherein he/she has experience and ignore the rest.
Whenever the video says 'click here to download….'. It never takes me to anywhere to download anything.
This has good info, but the video could have been done in half the time.
My biggest weakness is that I'm sometimes disorganized. However, I actually started using Google Calendar, and now I track my work with Atlassian. Since I started doing that I've increased my performance from ____ to ______. I feel that I'm well on the way to conquering these issues and possibly being well organized.
I love the videos, but it really doesn't impress the need to be confident. Take out the "umms and uhhs". Be on your feet. As they're asking the question, be formulating the answer. Don't be modest, but don't be cocky. Confidence is extremely important.
Simply fantastic!!! Thank you

What's with the trend now to ask questions that are totally irrelevant to the job? I just went on an interview. The questions has nothing to do with the job I was applying for. I was told they were questions he had to ask because they were policy. The first one was, name a time you had a stressful situation and how you handled it, and name a time you had to give someone bad news and how you consoled them. There were no questions about my job performance or what I did on my last job. I wasn't even asked to describe myself. So getting the job is based on how you answer these stupid questions? What happened to equal opportunity or getting a job based on merit? So I can lose a job that I am perfectly capable of doing just because of my answers to these stupid irrelevant question?
Thank you this really help me.
