I’ve been taking tomatoes for a while, but haven’t put up a video on the harvest of any. Just kind of took it for granted I guess.

A little about my setup. I have a hydroponic greenhouse. I grow in a system I call FAWN which is a modified hydroponic drip system. The media I grow in is aged rice hulls with parboiled rice hulls mixed. This has proven to be a great mix for me. I use Masterblend fertilizer as my nutrients to every plant grown. I’ve been pretty successful with my setup growing hydroponic tomatoes, peppers, broccoli, squash, cucumbers, cabbage, cauliflower, lettuce, turnip greens, corn, potatoes, kale, carrots, beets, spinach, onions, leeks, and even okra! Everything a gardener would desire. I also dabble in other areas like growing in raised beds, growing in a ground garden, grafting, pond activities, growing fruits, and other projects on the homestead.

Thank you so much for stopping in!

Hello Brent. Was that rain or wind or a combination of both that I could hear. Nice looking tomatoes. The big guys seem popular? In the UK we grow lots of smaller 'cherry types' tomatoes. I have just started taking some, grown in a greenhouse. I grew some from seed that I had taken from a shop bought 'Santini' tomato. The tomatoes that were produced looked like and tasted like a 'Santini' but apparently they are not a 'Santini' Check these guys out. HGV https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U0t3rLrpSWo

with that storm it was just as well that you were inside. Thought for a minute that the polytunnel was going to buckle. Interesting harvest of tomatoes. Have a great day

That storm reminds me of what we drove through Saturday. All the way from Fort Worth to the Louisiana state line. The weather was bad and the traffic was terrible. Nice looking tomatoes Brent. Have a great day. Best wishes Bob.

Wow that was some storm you dealt with! Nice harvest of maters buddy! We have lots of your secede maters coming ripe now. If all goes well you will see them tomorrow. Hope the weather clears up for ya soon! Keep up the great work and stay dry!

Nice haul! You inspire me to keep trying new things. I planted some big beef rooted suckers in 5 gallon air pruned buckets today. Probably too hot but I have to play. I also set up my first rain gutter growing system with just one gutter and planted a few things just to see how they grow. I would love to be able to taste test all those varieties. Would you please share your thoughts on air pruning. I see you and Chuck do not do that. Have you tried? Your thoughts. Thanks!

I worry about my greenhouse every time that kind of weather rolls through. The tomatoes look great Brent. I've been picking my cherry large for about a week now and one beefsteak.
