Thank you!! It's 2021 and I'm working on my little seaside garden that I now know is a cottage garden, thanks to you! I love a sweet, wild garden planted with thought and creativity. My spaces aren't very big, about as big as the garden in this video, and I've worked so hard on color and placement. Your 10 tips were beyond helpful, bc they answered many questions I've had about, "am I doing this right?" So thank you again Laura, I'm a cottage gardener!
Thanks for the tips, I understand the concept of a cottage garden more now. I love the quiet colour scheme, the filling of the ground, the different heights and textures, and the structures. Something to remember when I design our garden!

My fave garden is your garden around the chicken coop:) I got on a yellow flower kick but now I have too much yellow haha and I'm going back to pinks and purples. I got a lemon coloured Foxy Foxglove – SO pretty …but I pulled it out – oops – and ddin't collect the seed – hope I can get another one
You have a great varieties of flowers to choose from, lots of useful tips to take from, I recommend people who love gardening need to watch this video.

A suggestion: when talking about anchor plant or different texture of leaves or spacing doesn't matter: can you add more pictures to the video? That makes it much easier to visualize.

I’m new to your channel and I love it. I love planting but I’m not good at it. I get overwhelmed on what to plant. There’s so many choices I don’t know which to choose. I get overwhelmed! Where do I start and how do I plant them and where? Ugh!

This is a great video and very inspiring. I notice you don’t talk much about the seasonal aspects of when each will bloom and keeping color all season long. I would be very interested in that aspect of these gardens. Also it would be helpful to know what the dimensions are of the garden for perspective

Hi! We planted a bunch of plants and recently laid new sod. I was wondering what you do to treat for biting midges living in our plants. We have become swarmed in our backyard. I haven’t found anything helpful but wondering if you have any recommendations?
