Have you tried a bird bath for the birds, they ate a lot of my guavas too, but luckily I like my guava kind of green so we picked most of them before they got to them. I am planting a couple of peach trees next year and that what worries me about them. I saw some people put tin foil on the branches to make shiny reflections to scare bird and some people use fake snakes on the branches. I have really given up on my pomegranate, the leaf footed bugs just eat the heck out of them. I usually just take off all the flowers and use it as a shade tree for my other trees since they grow very well.
