I've been hopping from chapter to chapter the last few nights. I've done quite a bit of research in planning an Hydroponics business. that foil is gonna burn your plants dumbass. use a white surface for your walls
Dude not a bad tutorial BUT buy a 2 dollar can of flat white paint from any store an paint the walls with it an tear that ghetto alum foil asap. That space will be cooler just by that alone. Flat white paint reflects 25-30% more light than Mylar and 50% more than alum foil my friend. You'll see 15-20% more growth using white paint as well. Alum foil is meant to reflect heat, not light 420 an makes that tiny space twice as hot.

Should have had air movement! And should have tubed that heat out of the room because remember…its fall!! lower temps 68-75 wouldnt go higher! Keep practicing we can nvr learn enough! Peace

The disadvantage of hydroponics is you will have to pay for "plant food" or nutrition and supplements which are high-priced.
Very nice set up bro you really got a deal on that light and ballast. I only see a few thing you could improve on I know this will be a bit late but I just found your vid and knowledge is power, so first increase airflow put a few small fans say two or three one at the bottom and 2 up top to really get the air moving. second get a small vent or duct and attach it to your hood with a small computer fan to blow that hot air out of the area if your going for cheap if not then get a bigger vent fan for the light.the sun visors where a great idea and the tinfoil is fine untill you can upgrade, all in all very nice for a first time grow just add those few things I mentioned and you will see huge gains, oh and get some fly paper to put in around the top of the lid those small fruit fly's can be a pain and they seem to get in no matter what you do to keep them out. hope this helps and keep up the progress and don't let others get you down.
