Starting a vegetable garden in raised beds is the best way to grow your own food, I think. The beds are easy on your back and knees, and its much easier to weed and harvest. Building the raised garden beds is the first step, then use the lasagna garden method to build up the soil. One of the easiest vegetable to grow are sugar snap peas, and one of the earliest, then you can succession plant another crop for the fall. And after the harvest, you can put all the organic material in your pallet compost bin I show you how to make.

I love your videos, right now I'm living in an apartment but I already have so many projects in mind, from watching you, for when I move into a house
I have nine raised beds and found a ripped wooden market umbrella at the curb. I removed the fabric, sawed off part of the pole and now have a great bean trellis for my 4×4 bed. Also want to experiment with some straw bale gardening and booked someone to give us a "how to" at our Sept. Allentown NJ Garden Club meeting. Can't wait!
Great video, Eric!
How about a fun vidio on how to keep the most important ones happy, the Labs. lol
Making raised beds this year…. good idea to lasagna fill them.
Great video – Big fan of the seed starting paper pots
I love you videos! I love your labs too! I have a yellow lab named Moose! He is two and we also have a 10 yo chocolate lab named Toby!! You present everything in a way that anyone can give it a try! Thanks for sharing!!
Our land floods a little when we get lots of rain in summer,so we have only raised beds,I use toilet rolls as pots to start my seeds
