A sheriff’s deputy who stopped by an IRS office with a routine question about his taxes had no idea he was about to find himself in a terrifying standoff. A security guard at the Ohio office asked Deputy Alan Gaston to remove his gun. But when Gaston refused, the guard drew his own weapon and pointed it at Gaston. When the Toledo Police Department responded to the incident, they were surprised it had happened at all.
