The product looks like a cool idea for people that don't want to mess with designing their own system and who want a neat finished look, but……the price is way out of line. I understand that startup companies have a rough road, but I cannot see them succeeding with a price point that high. I could get the largest fruit and veggie box from a local CSA delivered to my door every week for two years and be just under the cost for the large wall farm, and it doesn't look like that comes with any seed pods. To fill the unit with their seed pods would cost me the same as another 6 weeks of CSA deliveries.

looks great, but you should definitely route those cables through the wall for that polished and clean finish.

I thought you need UV lighting to grow indoor plants, not just LEDs

    should hide the wires

This is nice to have in a home, until I found the whole system cost me 700 USD. Now the question is do I really need a indoor garden.

I just grow my edible plants in a giant round plastic bowl which I got a while ago for about $15. I made plastic dividers inside of it for different plants, and the whole thing stands in a corner in my kitchen. I do have to water them twice a week, but the whole procedure takes under 5 minutes 🙂

I'd be interested to know about the long-term impact of the LED grow lights on the electric bill. The video suggests you used them for at least a few weeks–was the uptick in electric usage terrible or negligible? Thanks!

Would love a DIY from scratch…this is not available in other countries so a DIY including an Arduino or a Raspberry Pi would be awesome

Like what you did with it but something to cover the wires would really put a nice finish on it.
