Laura, this is four year old video, so it's hard to imagine that you'll ever see this, but I'll give it a try: I've been reading the reviews of this system on Gardener's Supply. Some people are frustrated with the pegs that should push the transplants out, saying that all they do is poke a hole up into the soil and the roots. Many people had the starting soil just fall away, making things very hard and mess to transplant, of course. What was your experience with getting the plants out of the cells? This is my first year trying to learn to grow from seed and I'm going a little nuts….

wait if you can use the bottom stand to 'pop' the seedlings out….. shouldn't you also use it to make all the holes to plant in?

I've been contemplating getting the 3 tier SunLite Garden since seeing your videos and was going to do the starter kit to try out these GrowEase trays. I read that the GrowEase was a redesign of a previous model and many are complaining that getting the plants out of the tray is near impossible without disturbing the roots. Many state that the drainage holes and the platform you can use to "pop" them out are not sufficient. Have you tried to remove any plants yet from these and what was your experience?

Love your videos! Can you talk about different grow lights in terms of red or blue light. I bought an African violet to put at my office and my cubical is very dark. So I bought a small USB grow light that can plug to my computer so I can give it some light. How many hours do you think I should leave my plant under the light?

Really great video, I think I may get this. I love working with plants inside in the winter. Love the idea of herbs and lettuce. I just ordered a grow light so that should be fun also. Learning so much from you 🙂

I would love to grow micro plants in a type of kit, this seems promising for easy germination. I wonder, how long can the seedlings stay in the system? Are you planning on repotting them?
