Just recently I decided I’d like to try some strawberries in an NFT system because I was so inspired by my buddy Larry’s (Austin Family Gardening) amazing successes. I noticed my strawberries were sending out runners so I thought I’d just root them out in Coco Coir and also try Pearlite as a rooting medium. Both worked but the Coco way out performed the Pearlite. I also talk about some future plans to try some long distance growing tests with a few other growers. I hope you enjoy the video. Brock my strawberry plants didn't seem to send out any runner shoots last season. I am wondering if they were too dry? Does any one know what I might be doing wrong? Or do some plants send runners on their second season?

Hi Brock, Just sending you a picture of my PUPS from my dwarf Banana plant. They are so beautiful. But to my surprise i also found another adult PUP hiding behind the mature plant. I am not into plants but i have been laughing for the past hour watching your videos. The only green thumb i have is for my dwarf banana tree. In Montreal we love beer as much as you. The big difference is the temperature. I can't wait for my Dwarf banana plat to grow up so i can pass to my 1,5 liter beer mug.

The issue with hydroponics is that you will need to purchase "plant food" or nutrients and supplements which are pricey.
I want to overwinter my strawberries for the increased abundance next year. How do you over winter them? Should I take them out of the netipots and plant them in the fall? Keep them in the neti pots?
