Thanks for the tip about the nail just above the tack strip. Makes sense. Do you still use a starter strip when going over a first layer?
installed the leading wrong! The nail was placed at the top which will not prevent the winding from blowing up the first six inches. The nail goes just above the tack strip to hold down the edge.
