I wanted to test regrowing lettuce bought from grocery store. I’ve seen this done many times, but have never done it myself. Once it rooted, I placed the lettuce in hydroponic. Video Rating: / 5 New Stealth Indoor grow box , redesign plus new systems comming !, we can consider this a build and a half since we actually modified one of the grow boxes we built last year , which you can view here : https://youtu.be/HjxJ25OW4WQ Ah but this new unit, dubbed “BB2.5” as it’s roughly half the size of “BB5” both of these were so incredibly easy to build out that we condensed it into one video – it’s also quite lucky that we came across these server cabinets totally free – so if you want your to look as cool as ours be ready to pay a pretty heavy price, otherwise consider a tent as an enclosed alternative what we like most about these cabinets is with utilizing the available top side of BB2.5 we were able to hang a light and essentially create an open germination station, thus giving Dashboard cat the ability to perpetually grow year round right inside of his kitchen . starting seeds on top of BB2.5 moving those plants into BB2.5 for vegetative growth, and finally BB5 for full flowing growth!, if done right i’d bet we can rotate every two months. but i believe Dashboard cat has other plans, he intends on using BB2.5 for herbs only and BB5 for tomatoes and possibly some peppers. be on the lookout for updates to these two systems as we begin our winter grow season – and if you’re feeling squirrely here’s a list of everything you need to get started and to grow like we do this winter! , i’ll also include links […]

I will do something similar with a plant that I bought with roots. Have you added anything to the water? Is it running water with controlled conditions?

  • avgrim77 3 weeks ago

Dude that shit is crazy! Once you get roots you could probably plant it outside. You could even let it go to seed and collect them. Plants are an amazing creation of God! Just like humans heal plants can regenerate. How cool is that?

Thanks for all the great videos! I've started a mini solo cups veggie garden in my apartment and it has been a joy to see them grow daily!! I also have just started regrowing some romaine lettuce in water as well. Although they've been growing, I kept finding these tiny, red and yellowish things growing in between the leaves in the center. Do you know what these red and yellowish things are and how to get rid of them? Thanks again!

I watched some of your videos a while back and really enjoy your ideas! I have a head of romaine regrowing right now in a 1 gallon pretzel tub painted black. I peel my lettuce from the outside in when I eat it. I left the heart and dumped it in a jar like you. About a week later, I got a root. Now, the root is several inches long and the plant is greener than when I brought it home from the store! Thank you for your videos!

  • Marvin Xox 3 weeks ago

Wound have been awesome, if you had replaced the glass on the front door with a one-sided mirror facing inwards.
So you could always check on the plant without disturbing it.
Would also look awesome as a piece of home-decor.

Yeah trying to grow in that lil box is a joke…waste of time effort. Better off building a small closet with black plastic or get a tent…but this is just foolish.
