The garden is one of more than 30 that the nonprofit REAL School Gardens has planted at Dallas ISD schools. In November, the organization planted another one at John Reagan Elementary in Oak Cliff. Last year, the nonprofit planted its 100th garden in the state. It’s part of a growing trend in school garden planting as companies, nonprofits, and government agencies pour thousands of dollars into helping build these gardens.
