You’ve seen pallet projects before but this one is simple, relatively quick, and results in a planter that you can use to grow strawberries, veggies, screening shrubs, or greenery of your choice. The resulting planter is not only functional but looks great too – no one would ever know that it was a simple pallet in its former life!
More instructions on making this project here: http://lovelygreens.com/2013/05/how-to-make-better-strawberry-pallet.html
The project requires one pallet, a few hand tools, and a couple of hours on a sunny afternoon. Once you’ve made one, you’ll be able to knock them out quickly so you could end up with an entire container garden using these upcycled planters.
Video on how to plant it up here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eRp_oyz5Fik

Excellent illustration Good work
God bless you richly
That's a neat-looking trip hazard!
I really want to do this but it seems like an invitation for trip hazards and termites. If I do decide to do this, I might spend the extra money on a rock pathway instead of mulch. I foresee you doing several repairs with rotted boards and washed out, decomposed or compacted mulch.
great attractant to sub-termites , idk about this
Get a longer pry bar!
Can that be done with gravel instead of mulch?
Termites!
I love this!!
This is exactly what my husband and I are going to do around our yard. I love the look. We always go with Black mulch too so that plants and flowers against the black really pop. Thank you…Looks great.
Really like that look!
Won't they get slick as glass when it rains?
This is amazing! Thanks for sharing,
Cute baby!!
I’m so doing this..
Nice !! Good vid !!
I noticed she doesn’t use the landscape fabric thing, yet most videos say “You need to lay landscape fabric then make holes to plant”. I’m now confused. Is it a must?
you could of stood the box on one of the little sides to attach the feet easier
the project is very interesting i would have just that you can put polythene bag inside the box before you fill it with compost manure , this will prevent soil erosion
My perfect woman, a cat lover, intelligent, can take on great projects, grow lovely plants oh & very attractive
No need to use soil for strawberry?
Doesn’t DB stand for debarked? Isn’t it MB that we need to stay away from? Thanks 🙂
You are a beautiful woman, kisses
sehr sympathisch , schöne Idee !
круто, но земля же высыпать будет и ветром выдуваться. не практично и грязь кругом будет
Great job!
O prostie!!!!!….mai bine arata cum va sta pamantul in atatea gauri !!!!
Nice idea thank you
Fantastic tutorial, you’ve really inspired me to make my own one day x
I'm making this today. I'm so excited and cant wait. Blessings
