Concerning irrigation, you mean the pump will work continuously 24 hrs watering plants, some references say that there are cycles of watering, for example, 3 to 4 times daily?

If you were going to build a new greenhouse would you position the long wall running East/West or North/South?
I have a couple questions if I may. First, with NFT if a pump fails how long can the plants survive? Second, How long can the rails be? I was planning on 30ft. Lastly, how about using pvc pipes and maintaining say one inch depth in the pipe at all times? Wouldnt that reduce risk of pump failure?
