Funny, your system looks similar to mine. Yours is much better built, but we used the same hardware choices for much of it. I substituted orchid pots from Lowe's for the net cups and a drip on top and mister under net pot. The mister sprays for a few minutes after the pump turns off due to pressure. While the drip line on top is completely off.
Looking forward to seeing rest of your videos.

If people want to save some money, you can get icing buckets from bakeries. They're happy to give them away.
They have the flat sides like that.

Do you have a drain tap on the reservoir? Bending and scooping gets old fast.

Hey Jack. can you tell us where you got the bulkheads for a couple of bucks?

You could technically add “ ebb and flow “ to that hybrid name- still a cycled rise and fall 🙂

Now say that five times, “ my recirculating deepwater kratky aeroponic ebb and flow”

Or fredak for short ? Haha

Thanks for the video and ideas. Any problem with bulk heading (with silicon) the bottom of 5 gallon hydraulic buckets (or similar)?

Won’t the tubs siphon all the way empty once you begin draining them? I would think that you would need a vent (probably at the top of the upside down “U”).

Did those buckets come from home despot or Lowe's? What is the gph rating of the pump?
