Love the lettuce idea in the center! I have a 20' circle with a cherry tree in the middle. Thought 15 bags of mulch I had stored in the garage for a few years would cover it. Nope, not even close. Per calculations, I need another 42 bags! Way too expensive just starting out. So, I think I may try your idea! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for showing your almost-but-not-quite-perfect garden, as a beginner it's so interesting to see what sorts of tools you use and what you'd do differently etc. – I learn so much more from this than from a super perfect video where everything is where it's supposed to be.
