I will be starting a new vegetable garden series titled: Grow As I Grow. You can find it on my second YT Channel called My First Vegetable Garden (here is the link) https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCAPRtyacJ69AUdb7o-TZLSw?view_as=public

Please subscribe and ring the bell and you will get notified when the First Episode of Grow as I Grow launches today around 6:00 PM. I am in Maryland gardening Zone 7.

This series is for new gardeners or gardeners that want to grow along with me. We will basically grow the same plant varieties from start to finish. I’ll be going over all the steps and making videos you can use to manage your gardens and tend to your plants. It starts with seed starting and goes through harvesting. The whole concept is.. you can see what your plants should look like and you can get real time help so to speak as needed. I’ll be using FB and Instagram as a way for all of us to talk and share pictures. You can find the links below.

Gary, do you know which variety "Beefsteak" is in your "grow as I grow" package? I got them a few weeks ago. Can't wait to get started!

I really like and appreciate the balanced information that you put out (organic vs. “chemical”). I don’t like using “chemicals” unnecessarily, but I find that most (if not all) organic proponents are either misleading, misinformed or both.
Btw, I look forward to seeing how you set up your new beds – not the layout, but how you grow on top of grass.

What a cool idea for a series 🙂 Do you have a video that has a simple list of what to seedstart and when? Like group 1 – tomatoes, peppers… 6-8 weeks before the last frost, group 2… etc. I have so many seeds and I'm trying to make a schedule so I know when to start these indoors. This is my first year.
Also a list of container size for each veggie?

I'm really excited for this. My plans got foiled last year, so I'm glad you are doing this, and doing it step by step. Exactly what I was hoping for. Thanks, Gary!

I bet you'll far outgrow me. I did this on my own when you and CaliKim29 had the tomato challenge and both of yours were monsters compared to mine.

Guess I got lucky. Today was my 1st time seeing your channel. This will be my year 2, had some things go really well and some things, well FAILED. But still learned a lot and look forward to a new adventure.
Quick question, what zone are you in? I am in zone 5b.
    Thanks

I started seeds on 1/20 and 2/2 and I have already had to transplant to larger containers and they are going to need to be put in even larger containers soon. I am afraid they will be mature before the weather gets warm.

It is amazing how vast information is spread just by observing others and seeing what is being done right to incooperate it into your own system will greatly help out.
