Health is about more than having access to doctors, drugs and hospitals.
Our health is shaped by a complex set of interconnected and dynamic social factors: the circumstances in which people live, grow, work, and age.
Research tells us that by addressing these social conditions, we can improve people’s health and well-being and reduce health inequities.
The Wellesley Institute is a Toronto research and policy thinktank on advancing population health. In October 2012, we launched popular education exhibit Making the Connections: Our City, Our Society, Our Health. The exhibit aims to engage communities across the Greater Toronto Area by identifying what the social determinants of health are, their interconnections, how they impact our health, and what we can do to address them.

Great educational video for community health nursing students.
In my opinion this presentation looks good, but the facts and "connections" are pulled out of nowhere
An excellent educational video – Thank you! 🙂
