There's someone in my area that is giving away free date palms if you dig out of their property they are about 4-5 years old or more. Should I go dig up alot?

Will a date palm grow in South west of Texas. We have dry heat. But we freeze for a few days in the winter.
Erica, just because Whole Foods is the only store you go to doesn't mean no other store sells Japanese sweet potatoes. Every Asian grocery store sells the purple sweet potatoes. Sometimes they're labeled as Japanese or Korean sweet potatoes but its the same thing and their prices don't cost an arm and a leg like the ones sold at Whole Foods.
