Lecture: Thorbjörn Andersson-10 Concepts of Landscape Design

The tape recorder was held at the City Museum of Ljubljana, Slovenia on May 7, 2018. Thorbjörn Andersson has been engaged in landscape design since 1981 and has studied landscape architecture, architecture and art history in Sweden and the United States. Thorbjörn Andersson is the author or co-author of numerous papers and books, including Svensk Trädgårdskonst under fyrahundra år. He is also the founder and editor of Utblick Landskap magazine. An elected member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Fine Arts he is currently professor at Swedish University of Applied Life Sciences in Ultuna, Sweden, in addition to his continuing practice. Teaching experience also includes the visiting professor position of GSD at Harvard University in Cambridge (2001) ; EPFL in Lausanne, Switzerland (2004); and University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2006). For his contribution to the field of landscape architecture, Thorbjörn Andersson was awarded the Order of Prince Eugene by His Majesty the King of Sweden in 2009.
