Title: A great planter for railings and sides

This vertical planter is just perfect for patio gardens or greenhouses where you’ve found a side or railing that could be growing something. We’ve tested it out on our patio, where we planted a whole bunch of herbs in it. The planter is, for the most part, felt fabric, and quite thick. There is a plastic membrane on the back to prevent moisture buildup on whatever surface you mount it on, so you can water the front without worrying.

This particular planter is one large pocket. We planted well paired companion plants in it.

The fabric also allows for great moisture controls, it won’t allow too much sitting water so you won’t have root rotting problems. When it does rain, the fabric can store moisture. However, you will need to keep up with the watering, no two ways about it.

Overall, I like it and the plants like it. All the herbs took well to planters, when filled with potting soil.

* Vertical mounting, with 5 different eyelets
* Fabric design for water controls
* Plastic membrane on the back
* 1 large pocket (although some supporting straps go across the top, so you have 4 “slots”)
