Kiser PreK-8 School celebrated the bounty of their vegetable and perennial garden with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10:30 a.m. Aug. 25, 2015. The area on the school grounds has been transformed to serve as the Kiser Garden/Natural Play Area. Planted at the end of last school year, the garden is incorporated into everyday instruction. Students also gain the hands-on experience of growing healthy foods they can take home to their families. The initiative was made possible through corporate contributions and a grant from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. For more information, contact Kathy Gooch at 937.266.3429.
