    we live in the Netherlands and my youngest daughter who is 10 have a schoolgarden. It's a very little plot of land for herself in wich she plants various vegetables. She brings the produce home, things like onion, carrots, watercress, rucola, lettuce, zuchini and so on. She gets to work her little plot from 5th grade to 8th. My daughter enjoys it a alot. It would be great of every child in the world could have that.

    That is so cool.We have a trend for this here too, it's a great idea. We are not as organized as Japan,and it's mostly in private schools or high schools and activity centers! Learning how to grow food is a essential skill and I think essential. It's healthy good for them and creative! I love having gardens and growing food! Thanks for the vid, it's so nice and positive to see that! YES! ;D
