Hi aaldawrogers .. First, this has nothing to do with your discussion with eastcoastbloom. I just wanted to say I tend to also prefer the studio versions of songs — I guess it's because I want to hear what I heard back then on the radio. James Taylor is one of the exceptions, however. I love listening to him live. I can never get over how perfect his voice is.
I remember the time when I was a teenager. My friends and I would climb the roof of our house and just talk and look at the stars. Those were the days.
james taylor is such a legend …everyone should get to one of his concerts at least once in their lifetime……I am 52 yrs young ,and i love this man …simply love him
@eastcoastbloom So you know, this is one of my favorite songs ever, and at one point it was my favorite song. I just prefer studio versions to live ones. I am used to the studio versions. I agree, this is awesome. I just prefer the other version that I have grown up listening to, which is awesome as well. I apologize that that makes it all about me and that nothing is good enough for me in your mind. And please, since I am listening to this song, don't classify me with my generation. Thank you.
the song that makes you want to go up on a roof……its that good…more magic from the great man James Taylor….Nobody and I mean Nobody does it better….keep Rockin' James
