With the kids being home schooled right now we thought this was a perfect time to grow some live butterflies. The Insect Lore Butterfly Garden kit gives us that chance. You simply buy the kit, link above! Let your caterpillars eat and shed their exoskeleton and grow. They will eventually form a chrysalis and turn into butterflies right before your eyes!
My son is 6 and he’s so excited to see the butterflies grow. You can get the kit that has the live caterpillars with it or you can get the kit that contains a voucher to get the live caterpillars later. You will need to let your butterflies go, so make sure and time it with late spring so its warm enough outside for the butterflies to live.
