I've grown peppers and tomatoes indoors and you do need to pollinate…simple use a q-tip to transfer the pollen between the flowers, or use a new battery operated toothbrush…either way is successful. The only way that you wouldn't need to do this is if you're using self-pollinating plants.

Yolanda, I have a question about growing indoors. I am growing hot peppers and tomato's indoors for the first time with artificial lights. My question is when my plants flower, do i have to pollinate them some how for the flower to become a vegetable? If so, how would I go about doing this? Thank you so much, and i have been watching a lot of your videos. they are very helpful!
