No drain holes? Yeah, root rot will be a concern, along with other PM issues.
Very cool. Yeah striking the right balance for watering is tricky. The room humidity, soil composition, and soil depth are all factors. I always have problems when I forget drainage holes, mostly because I accidentally overwater.
Keep up the great work!
Thank you for answering my moisture concerns in the cellar.
Using a Moisture Gauge should solve the problem.
That's what I did, I wondered
Really good info. I find people tend to get a bit overenthusiastic about watering, and then they're not sure "what happened"…I remember this myself as a novice gardener.
I love your videos!! but have you ever tried aquaponics? it works great for indoor growing, and a lot less bugs!
You're grow lights are causing global warming.
What's Good Neighbor! lol
Thanks a lot for that information, Luke. If a plant is in a container with holes at the bottom, wouldn't the water be at least coming out of the holes before one could over-water? I have a peace lily that was starting to wilt, but the soil was damp. But when I put a little water in, it seemed to perk up. So far no water has come out of the holes, even though there is a little white mold or something growing on part of the surface. And do yellow leaves always indicate too much water? I have scented geranium whose leaves start to droop when I need to water it, which is often. It's very bushy with lots of green leaves, but here and there are browning leaves. I thought it was just like dead skin cells on people, but is there something wrong with the plant?
Just realised why my beans are failing, thanks for the help 🙂
Does anyone know any coupon code for migardener web? I was gonna order some seed thnz
Great information, thanks for sharing! When growing plants indoors would you suggest to provide them with a fan to strengthen the stems, or is that unnecessary? By the way, i just noticed you're almost at 100,000 subscribers! It went up so quickly in the last few years i didn't even notice.
If course we learned something new. Always do on your channel.
Love the tips on watering. Tried to order your Trifecta+ Fertilizer but they look to all be sold out. Was I looking at the correctly?
Love the glasses!
Good information. Not going to show your lighting or talk about the lighting setup?
Can't wait to see how you old seeds do. I have some Okra pods from about 5 years ago and have been wondering if it would grow.
