I am super excited about going vertical with my system. How better to take advantage of the limited space in a greenhouse. That’s a statement more than a question. So, the tomatoes, peppers, and more are taking off beyond imagination. I’m finding more interest in the GH lately and less in the traditional garden. In this episode, I explain how I decided to go vertical…strawberries. I had read where june-bearing strawberries could produce at other times depending on when planted after a chill period. The articles mentioned inducing that artificially including in the refrigerator. I don’t know if it’s true, but if you follow along, you can explore the possibility with me. If it doesn’t work, I’ve created a platform to grow much more smaller vegetables on a smaller footprint. I also incorporated an idea to cool the reservoirs even more and improve the drainage (return). It is my belief that a cooler root allows plants to perform better in an otherwise hot environment. I’ve got more ideas coming to take advantage of space and grow more types of veggies in the more controlled environment a GH offers. I love chatting with folks and answering questions. I like the new design. And great info on freezing the strawberries! My brother and I were just talking about how you would over winter your hydroponic strawberries! Thank you!

Nutrient Gutter Technique ? Think I'd maybe make it stairs, so they have a bit bigger footprint, and point the highest gutter north, lowest south. I'm doing this with F&D buckets with medium because I want to grow some bigger veg in there.
Subbed & keep them coming :o)
    Cheers !
