Hydroponic Systems Video demonstration of the awarded ” best hydroponic bubble flow”, ebb and flow growing system for your indoor garden or outdoor. The 6 plant bubble flow buckets combine bubble bucket technology with ebb and flow technology into a fully automated hydroponics system. 6 Plant Bubble Flow – Hydroponics System The 6 plant bubble flow is a hydroponics system that generates extremely high yields of crop. With high circulation, this hydroponic system eliminates issues with pH and TDS pockets thereby having exactly the same readings in each bucket. Also, nutrients are evenly distributed throughout the system. Dimensions: Buckets cover a 4’x4′ or 5’x5′ area. The res is an extra 2.5 feet extension off the side on top of that. Available in 6, 12, or 24 plant versions. The 6 plant bubble flow is voted the to be one of the best hydroponics systems in the market. use of smaller holes, do you have filter on the pump inlet?

On a centrifugal pump like these the more restriction you have the lighter the load is on the motor. Sounds backwards but for example take a box fan or a vacuum cleaner, if you restrict the air flow the motor speeds up. The same happens to a centrifugal water pump to some extent. Of course if you restrict the flow to nothing you might risk not cooling the pump but it is submersed in cool liquid. These pumps are crude and will not build pressure like a positive displacement pump will. Positive pumps are either gear, vane or piston pumps.
I have had hydroponic pumps running for years. I have used the same pump restricted down to very little flow like one plant to nine plants and so far have not lost a pump. But they only run a few minutes a day so they should last. The one I restricted the most ran 12 hours a day on a half hour on half hour off timing. (ECO264)

Those black pails look like 2 gallon instead of 1 gallon? this system looks good! The only thing that may give you some indigestion is the size of the return lines on the Dutch buckets. Depending on what you are growing you will find roots making it into those lines. I use 2 inch returns and I am always cleaning out roots from the return lines when I perform maintenance on the system.
I look forward to seeing more from you! I subbed!

Buildinghydroponics may appear as unattainable specially when you live in a condo or high-rise apartment, but it is not.

We all start somewhere. Good luck and have fun with it.

Congratulation on your new system. I have a few suggestions. The rail system size of the gutter drain pipe should be deeper like the 5X5 PVC posts. The reason is the roots will fill the pipe fast and water will go out the pot holes once the roots get packed in. I would add 1/4 tubs off your PVC pipe and placed into the dutch bucket media to also reduce your algae. Well have fun and I wish you the best.
