Deep Water Culture (DWC) hydroponics bucket that is surprisingly easy to build! Its only four basic things that will cost under and take a short afternoon to make.
How to make it fast, cheap and easy to build.
You can transplant mature plants or start plants from seeds to grow in this thing.
This video is shot with the Sony Alpha a6600 mirrorless camera set atop a Ronin SC gimbal by DJI. B roll with Nikon D500 and DJI Oslo Pocket Camera, although that one was out of focus and I didn’t realize that until editing.

Rather than drill for the airstone… drill 1/4" hole to pass the airline through, then connect the airstone after passing the airline through.
What type of foam is that?
Any reason why you used a paddle bit to make the big hole for the bubbler? You could just punch a 1/4" hole in the foam that just fits the hose. Leaves less area where the lights can reach the roots. I've been doing DWC in totes….water levels are a pain in the ass. This is a better method and for sure it is easier to water.
How fo you keep the ph level stabil?
1st time i seen foam used hmm,i was gonna buy a lid with a basket but this may work
That’s a really cool bucket. Can you answer Scott’s email? I heard that also helps plants grow. I bet he’ll even subscribe.
I built two!
