Do hydroponic tomatoes grow better? This year I grew two tomato plants in dutch buckets just to try it out. I also grew tomatoes in soil. I figured I might as well compare the two while I was at it.     I delude myself that if I don't prune back the healthy leaves towards the bottom I give the rabbits and woodchuck something to chew on before the nice big stem
