I say it is a flawed experiment also , just because they didnt use a central sump
You can never, ever do side by side comparisons of different lights, media, grow methods (soil/hydro) using two different plants. As genetics and phenotypes come in to play. Genetics is single handily the most important variable you cannot have when doing comparisons.
They need to be genetically identical clones from the same mother plant. Every one that's ever done a comparison has made this mistake, which results in a flawed study.
Interesting that the hydrogrow light of 119 watt grew almost 3Kg, but the 63 watt grew only a meagre 0.5 Kg much less that the half mark that I would have expected. Do you think this is related to the heat given off by the lights or another possible explanation such as air currents in the room etc.
I think the dark bottoms of the tomatoes mean that they're lacking calcium
Robert could you please share with us what is the nutrient formulation you use for the physalis you show here. It looks outstanding.
Looks amazing. I'm growing ground cherries from seed. I read they do well in partial shade.
Looking mighty fine. I have never heard of these things before. Makes me want to try it.
