This is only our second season gardening and we are hooked. The taste of home grown veggies is unmatched to store bought. Everyone should try even a tiny garden and they will experience the difference. No chemicals here. If the plant gets sick we try organic remedies or remove them from the garden. Like I said, we are newbies, but are loving every minute of it. To start a plant from seed and later eat the fruits of your labor is quite satisfying. Give it a try. A great way to spend time with your family.

Watch us transform into a Homestead Family. We are preparing to move to the North West. Stay tuned for more videos on moving away from dependency and heading towards self sustainability. It’s going to be an interesting journey to say the least! No water, no electricity, not even a road in yet. Watch us learn and practice our skills so we may survive off grid. We are starting our tiny house build. We value your comments as we have never done anything like this before. We hope to be on our land in the mountains in about 1.5 to 2 years. Our land is about 3200 feet above sea level with most surrounding mountains peak at 6 – 9 thousand feet with some topping 12 thousand feet. Grizzly bears, lions, wolf packs, elk, deer are just some of the wildlife we will have to be on the watch for.
