The Nutrient Film Technique (NFT) is one of the most productive forms of hydroponic cultivation. Its simple yet effective design ensures that your plant roots have a constant supply of all the nutrient, water, and oxygenation they need.
In this video we show you how to successfully set-up a NFT System (we use the popular GT205i [https://www.hydroculture.co.uk/gt205i] – but the principal set-up is the same for most NFT systems [https://www.hydroculture.co.uk/nft-systems]). We also cover a few other fundamentals such as adjusting PH in hydroponic systems to optimum levels.

Looks intersting. My question is, how much holes make sense when you plan to grow cuttings?
someone, at some point had to explain to the hydro shop boss the big cuts in the floor from putting that hole in the corex!
i am new to this. and i have a question. i hope you answer me 🙂
i have two plants. they are about 10 days old. i got them on a tiny rockwool cube.
i have them under the light for 18/6h and on a spereader mat which i make sure is always damp with 6.5ph water.
their roots (one single root) started coming out of the base of the tiny rockwool cube.
should i transplant them to the bigger rockwool cube now?
if so, should i start the pump/nutrient procedure? or should i wait?
thanks for your time!
edit: i am a customer.
Nutrient Film Technique (NFT) has long been known to be one of the most productive hydroponic gardening techniques out there.
This video shows you how to get up and running with NFT Systems (we demo the popular GT205i set up) and we also show you how to keep that all-important PH in the optimum range.
