Could Grand Rapids leaf lettuce be grown this way? I just got some seeds I ordered from you and I dont think I can wait untill spring to start growing. Also im new to this so I assume the seeds will last a few years if I dont plant them, I want to save the extra in case I mess up this year. Is there a specific way I should store the to make sure they keep??

So the solution replaces the soil and that's how the plant gets nutrients? I'm sure there's been all sorts of tests done to compare this way with the traditional way (dirt) … but I'm skeptical of the wisdom in doing something differently than God intended. Or maybe I'm just ignorant and this way really is in the bible somewhere? Nevertheless … if I can find the supplies without much effort I might give it a try.
Will you be doing update videos on the progress of your plant? Does the solution need refilled or refreshed?
    Thanks for sharing. -Joanne?

Very awesome 🙂 i used 1 gallon milk jugs awhile back and used the kratky method of course it was one of my first thing i tried and made the mistake of using tomato plant and not changing the nutrient sol out. So i ended up with beautiful green tomato bushes that were about 2 feet tall that i ended up killing because i topped off the gallon jug to high. 🙂 live and learn. I have since figured out that Tropicana Orange juice containers with the white plastic work very well. Much better than the costco milk jugs i was using. Because the plastic is much thicker and last much longer. I did find that if i covered the milk jug in aluminum foil that they lasted much longer and blocked out the sun to help prevent algae growth as well. 🙂 Is there a reason you use 1/2 gallon instead of 1 gallon??

That's a wonderful idea! Wow! I have lots of those plastic as well as can 1 gallon coffee containers at work but they pile up in one corner for a while and then we dump them in the trash! I'm going to bring them home and use them for hydroponic gardening! But where can I buy "hydroponic mix"? At a gardening store? Where did you get yours from!?

Wow, very interesting. What was that solution, water and the hydroponics fertilizer? Do you change the water after so many days? Sorry for so many questions. I want to try it out. Looks like fun. My kids would love it!
I bought some seeds from you a couple of weeks ago and they are already starting to sprout! Thanks so much for offering such a great deal. I look at your store first and if you don't have the seeds I'm looking for then I go elsewhere. Thanks again :)?
