Did you know with just a few tools, PVC pipe, and plywood you can make a vertical herb garden that can be hung outside, but also brought inside to hang on your wall when it gets cold? Here’s how you do it. 🙂 It’s only 8″ wide so when hung vertically, it takes up very little space. Now you can have herbs all year round–indoors AND outdoors. 🙂
Materials list is on the blog post: https://thriftdiving.com/herb-garden-planter-pvc-pipe/
Cost for PVC and wood = (minus the soil and plants). All other materials I had on hand!

Do not forget to shave the inside of the pipe
How do you come up with these ideas! This is so adorable, thanks for making it look so easy – I might actually try this one 🙂
Looks very nice however, I am concerned that pvc and most plastics leech into the food …
Nice vlog.
Can i marry you? Honestly watching you really is inspiring. I am a single mom and after my x left i didnt even know how to do the garbage . Now i find myself changing my car battery in parking lots, fixing the plumbing, gardening, painting.. But your next level!!!! Love it
Cuuuuute!
New subscriber. Loved this video so can't wait to create my own herb garden. Fab idea and a great reason to use my new Ryobi tools. So excited!!
Great idea and beautifully crafted ….but it should be deeper to hold more soil, those plants are never going to thrive in such a small reservoir!! Thanks
That looks so fancy. 🙂
I love the idea of doing projects with the kiddos
Omg….this is beautiful.
this is great, but is the master closet makeover part two video coming soon?! i can't wait for it!!
Hi, that's nice…how's the garden you started last year?
Thats great…:)
Hi Serena, this is a great idea – love it. I purchased some seeds from the Dollar Tree last month. I got chives, parsley, basil and thyme. I will have to wait until I can get out to get containers and soil. I would love to have one like this one☺. Your boys worked right alongside you doing a great job. Stay safe. Wishing you and your family a blessed and Happy Easter❤
Genius idea! TFS
