Did you know with just a few tools, PVC pipe, and plywood you can make a vertical herb garden that can be hung outside, but also brought inside to hang on your wall when it gets cold? Here’s how you do it. 🙂 It’s only 8″ wide so when hung vertically, it takes up very little space. Now you can have herbs all year round–indoors AND outdoors. 🙂 Materials list is on the blog post: https://thriftdiving.com/herb-garden-planter-pvc-pipe/ Cost for PVC and wood = (minus the soil and plants). Looks very nice however, I am concerned that pvc and most plastics leech into the food …

Great idea and beautifully crafted ….but it should be deeper to hold more soil, those plants are never going to thrive in such a small reservoir!! Thanks

    Thats great…:)

  • Hi Serena, this is a great idea – love it. I purchased some seeds from the Dollar Tree last month. I got chives, parsley, basil and thyme. I will have to wait until I can get out to get containers and soil. I would love to have one like this one☺. Your boys worked right alongside you doing a great job. Stay safe. Wishing you and your family a blessed and Happy Easter❤
