Are the kits for this project still available?
I love all of your videos. You make such beautiful projects.
I just need to ask a question about these pouches. Are the patterns different? One seems to go with horizontal patches and the other vertical patches. Maybe I am just confused. The pictures are different. Thank you.
The instructions say 2 1/2” x 5” but you say 2 1/2 x 5 1/2”. I already cut at 5”. Can I still make it?
Made my first one on the weekend Morgan…the few things I did differently were to choose a single piece of solid for the lining … I also must have put my zipper along the wrong edge but I rechecked and put it along the 9 1/2 inch side, as mine came out with the patchwork stripes being Vertical rather than horizontal but I think I prefer that anyway. Also I ironed on H940 fusible to the main back rather than the lining. I then also neatened the side seams and then to trim off and neaten the boxed corners. I really appreciated Jen's showing us how to orientate the fabrics when it came to the 2nd zipper side. Oh and I also top stitched alongside the zipper teeth on the main side. I'll certainly be making more…thank you for the tutorial and Moda for the pattern…Lindy
Love your tutorials!
Melanie Ham has a boxed pouch
& she shows you how to not have exposed seams. Beginner friendly. ALSO, I did the fusible fleece on the outside piece. Makes for a firmer pouch.
Thank you my dear
Wie sind die Maße in cm?
I made one of these so far. I put the interfacing on both the front and the lining. It gave it a little more structure. It holds my ear buds and charging cord for my cell phone. Going to make a bunch more!! They would be great for craft fairs. Thanks for the tutorial.
I bought half a yard lining
If the lining and the outside are the same what would I cut the lining at if I wanted it be one full piece of fabric
If you wanted the patchwork on the outside and a solid fabric on the inside how big would the square be for the lining on the inside of the bag
Would of like the choice to download in color. Love your tutorials. Thanks!
this is a good way to use scraps but you can off course have patchwork only on the outside if you want. these can be made bigger and if you do you can make extra pockets with zippers inside of the bag you do them on the lining first.
Great way of folding the fabric around the zip, thank you for that, you made it so easy! The only downside of this project is that the edges are left rough from the inside
How special! Thank you and I can't wait to give this a go — will make a few for Christmas. Thank you again.
A beautiful pouch, I like the boxing zipper tape tip at 45odeg angle! Thank you
Cute bags and great video.
