Ive gotten very different information regarding the water level in a DWC. Ive always heard to keep the water below the net pot, and this is what Ive done with all my DWC grows. Now, I do however use a top feed system for the first few weeks, until the roots start to reach the water. Once the roots are in the water, I cut off the top feed. What Ive found is that the Hydroton is pretty well always wet, due to the bubbles from the air stones. I'm using 3.5g buckets with large air stones though, the cylindrical ones, like the size of a redbull. Anyway, great video and thank you for sharing. 🙂
I've seen that you shouldn't use clear piping as the sunlight can cause algae to grow. Have people had success with clear piping and no algae growth?

I tried this with growing vegetables and the water alway got fungus i dont recamend this for beginer growers. It is better to use soil with rope to automatic feeding or a wick feed system.

Big tip. Use aquarium sealant for those rings if you dont want them to pop out or move. Aquarium sealant is a non toxic silicone.

I'm gonna put a plate on my tomato scaffold and attach strips of led tape lights to the inside of it to boost my lower colas.
