Thanks for the lesson !!
It's better to leave a gap between the drip edge and fascia. With direct contact, the drip edge will run the water right down the fascia and rot it out. A gap is also ideal for gutter installation.
This is NOT what Tommy Silva says, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UvLpM_MZB8M
Very sloppy corners, average at best.
I loved the professional way you handle your nails and the certainty of your hammer blows … With us amateurs there would be miscues and screams of pain every five minutes !
Good info thank you
The drip edge should not be tight against the fascia board. You want to leave a gap so water doesn't wick against it and cause rot.
No good
here in florida that work does not pass the inspection
Bet they don't even need insurance with a rooftop that low lol
Very good, thank you
It's 3 inch lap in Fl. code.
Wrong. The underlayment always goes down first. Drip edge installed over the bottom. Underlayment ie; ice shield or 30#felt, is always installed down over the gutter board 2-3". There is a reason why drip edge was made. Up until the 70s most roof construction consisted of 3/4" redwood on gutterboard and rakes. Then things changed because of dwindling redwood and higher costs. Well aluminium fascia and rakes became very popular and drip edge was used to keep the lower edge of shingles from drooping in to the gutter and securing fascia to rakes so the wind wouldn't blow it off.
Ever sick
Love it bro
Wow! The house furniture looks extraordinary. I'm lost for words with how amazing it looks. I just subbed! I've been buying hundreds of patio sets this last month at garage sales in town and repainting them and selling them for extra money. Would love to get your opinion on my latest patio set video. You should let them hang over a little longer
